Associate Professor Lutz Krause investigates cancer genetics, biomarker discovery, genetics and epigenetics of complex diseases and parasite genomics.

In collaboration with Princess Alexandra Hospital, his research helps clinicians choose optimal treatments for patients using oral anti-coagulants.

In infectious diseases, he is studying new drug and vaccine targets against human parasites, based on sequencing and analysis of multiple parasite genomes.
