Dr Adam Irwin
Dr Adam Irwin is a conjoint Senior Lecturer and academic lead for Paediatric Infectious Disease at Children’s Health Queensland and the University of Queensland.
His research focuses on diagnostic evaluations to optimise the use of antimicrobials in children. Specifically, he is interested in healthcare-associated infections and infections resistant to antimicrobial therapy. He is also interested in the clinical and molecular epidemiology of invasive Gram-negative infections.
Dr Irwin holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at University College London Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health.
