Researcher biography
Dr Zhian (Anthony) Chen is a Senior Research Fellow and Group Leader at the UQ Frazer Institute. They lead a team under the UQ Health Research Accelerator (HERA) program to investigate T cell-mediated immunity in the contexts of vaccination, infection, and cancers. Dr Chen’s research specifically focuses on unravelling the molecular mechanisms controlling the differentiation and function of follicular helper T (TFH) cells in humoral and cellular immunity, supporting antibody responses, and preventing T cell exhaustion in chronic infections and cancers.
